DEBRA MINNICK JOINS STEPS TO HOPE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Steps to HOPE is excited to welcome Debra Minnick as a new member of the Board of Directors! Debra is Broker-in-Charge at Blackstream Christie’s International Real Estate based in Greenville SC. Licensed in SC, NC and GA, she has served as past Chairperson for the Greenville Chapter of Professional Women in Building, has been honored as Associate Member of the Year by the Greenville Homebuilders Association and has been recognized with Top Producer Awards from Blackstream Christie's International Real Estate. Her expertise extends to various real estate niches, including luxury estates, equestrian and farm properties, golf and gated communities and residential developments.
Debra resides in the Campobello area with her husband, Nelson Minnick, where they are members of Tryon Hounds and enjoy being an active part of the equestrian community.
When asked why Debra decided to join the Steps to HOPE Board of Directors, she stated "Circumstances in my past make me understand and have a heart for people, especially those with children, who are in toxic situations with nowhere to go, no resources to move out, no way to find employment to support themselves and their children, no idea of how to get legal help to protect themselves from violence, no idea of how to start a new life, a better life, a safer life. It's my humble privilege to be able to serve and give back to our community and help in a way that's very personal knowing that what we do makes a real difference in lives. And, I love that every person in our community can also help by shopping at the Steps to HOPE Thrift Barn,in Landrum and Second Chance Thrift Store in Columbus. Every dollar spent in those stores not only makes a difference in someone's life, but those dollars also provide a safe haven at Steps to HOPE for those in serious danger.”
